Gabrail Cook has always been driven by his passion for music and technology and anytime those two can intersect. With so much social discord and the lack of tools, resources and knowledge readily available for the black community especially black owned businesses, Gabe helped start a company named “I Am Black Business” in 2014 with 3 brilliant brothers in CEO/President Joseph Guster, COO Lee Lewis, and CFO Mike Twum, where Gabe serves as CTO. The vision behind “I Am Black Business” was more than starting a company, it was to start a movement, for a platform that spotlights and highlights Black Owned businesses that you can support in your communities and help circulate the Black dollar and spending power in our community. Since then I Am Black business has grown to partner with various Black Chambers of Commerce as well as magazines, affiliates and other mediums. In addition to making strides in the Black Tech Space, Gabe also produces music under his alias Magic Notes drawing on his passion and love of music and his training from the same performing arts school that produced legends like Jasmine Guy, Raven Simone and many others. Helming from East Atlanta, Gabe plans to continue the efforts with his team @ I Am Black Business on providing tools and knowledge to black business owners on the power of technology and give them a tool that will help them improve their business reach and profitability.
